When twelve-year-old Casey is sent to San Francisco Chinatown to live with her grandmother, she embarks on a journey to reunite with her estranged father, reconnect with her cultural identity, and discovers a hidden animal realm– testing her love and courage along the way.

We have been granted exclusive rights to develop Laurence Yep’s award-winning “CHILD of the OWL” book into a live action magical realist film series set in 1970s San Francisco Chinatown.
