Nestled in a small bustling township in southern Taiwan, the Liu family’s relationship to flora and fauna reflect their practice and respect for the traditional tea making process that has sustained them for over three generations. As their youngest sons come of age, the family is on the precipice of change as they confront challenges from new cultural trends in tea consumption and the responsibilities of inheriting the family’s plantation against the impact of a rapidly warming planet.
